Rules

Entries must be registered using the Assist Expo link.

Entry fee of 15% will be deducted from the Prize money of Exhibitors. $10.00 Mountain Township Agricultural Society membership fee is also returned to MTAS for 2027.

MTAS reserves the right to skip a class if only one exhibitor. (Single Classes Only)

Livestock Bracelets will be allotted as follows; for every 1-2 animals exhibited you will receive – 1 Livestock Bracelet, 3-4 animals exhibited - 2 Livestock Bracelets, 5-6 animals exhibited - 3 Livestock Bracelets, 7-8 animals exhibited – 4 Livestock Bracelets, etc.

Entry fees must be mailed with entry forms or E-transferred to mtaspayments@gmail.com (please identify Entry fees and Exhibitor name – Horse show in EFT Notes area) for AssistExpo entries.

Proof of liability insurance in the amount of one million dollars is required with entries.

All exhibitors (except first time exhibitors and juniors under 18 years) must be paid up members of the Mountain Township Agricultural Society for the current year. A $10 membership fee will be deducted from the prize money for the next year membership.

Classes may be changed by the Committee for the following year due to lack of entries.

Judging of the line classes will commence at 10:00 am sharp on Saturday.

Registration papers must be available for verification for Classes 1 to 10 between 8:00 and 9:30 am the day of the show.

Entry fee is 15% of prize money won.

Ottawa Valley 4 Horse Hitch Series (OVHS) qualifying show. Finals will be at the Carp Fair.

$1 entry fee per bird

Rules

Birds will be accepted from 6:00 to 9:00 pm Thursday night, and no later than 9:30 am Friday morning.

The show is being held under A.P.A rules and being judged by "The Standards of Perfection."

Judging will begin at 10:00 am Friday.

A MTAS membership fee of $10.00 is waived for first time adult exhibitors and if you are under the age of 18 years.

Each exhibitor is allowed to enter ONLY two (2) pairs in each class: two (2) males and two (2) females to be judged separately. The judge may withhold a prize if the entry is not worthy.

Entries must be in by August 4 to Conner Fetterly, 11900 Country Road 38, Winchester, ON K0C 2K0.

Birds must be shown in cages supplied by M.T.A.S. All Standard and Bantams will be shown in a single cage.

Birds must remain in the show until 3:30 pm Sunday, August 16 or prize money is forfeited.

Birds must be picked up between 3:30 and 5:30 pm on Sunday.

MTAS and this Committee are not responsible for any loss or damage.
