Rules

Follow entry sheet when entering (ie: 5 beans means 5, not 6 or 7; 5 red tomatoes does not mean 4 red and one green).

Uniformity is a big thing when it comes to judging. Entries should all be equal size.

Committee is not responsible for any damaged entries.

Use only food that you have grown.

All first-time exhibitors are exempt from the MTAS membership fee but all other entrants (except children under 18 years) must pay.

All exhibitors must have an individual exhibitor number.

Exhibits must be in the Exhibit Hall no later than 10:30 am on Friday, August 16, 2024 and are to be picked up at 4:00 p.m. (NOT BEFORE) Sunday August 18, 2024.

Chairperson is not responsible for goods after 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 20, 2023.

Late entries (without registration online) are allowed and will be registered on Friday when brought to the Exhibit Hall.

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about your community? The Mountain Township Agricultural Society is on the lookout for a dedicated Secretary to join our team!

As Secretary, you'll play a vital role in supporting our work by:

Attending meetings

Assisting with administrative tasks

Taking accurate and professional minutes

Helping us preserve the traditions and future of our agricultural community

This is a great opportunity to get involved, make connections, and contribute to one of our region's most cherished organizations.

We're looking for someone who is:

Reliable and punctual

Comfortable with basic computer/word processing skills

A strong communicator

Passionate about agriculture and rural life

Whether you're a seasoned note-taker or someone looking to get more involved in your local community, we want to hear from you! This position includes an honorarium.
